Back in June at last year’s E3, Sony revealed that God of War III would release in March 2010. While that did something to take the anticipation off the much awaited title, it was a broad release date, and no one was sure whether the game’s release would eventually be pushed back.
Now we have word via the PlayStation Blog that the exact release date for God of War III has been decided. According to a post on the PlayStation Blog by SCEA PR Manager, Eric Levine, the PS3 exclusive title will release on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. The God of War III Ultimate Edition will be available on store shelves the very same day, and includes premium collectibles.
As a bonus for fans of the series, Sony will be debuting a God of War III trailer exclusively on Spike’s GameTrailers TV on February 11, 2010. Also revealed on the PlayStation Blog post is that the God of War Collection is now available for just 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,390).
