God of War Collection Has Gone Gold, Shipping in November

The God of War series is a popular one among PlayStation gamers, and earlier we reported that Sony had unveiled a God of War Collection which comprised of the first two games in the series. Now Anthony Caiazzo, Product Marketing Manager at SCEA sends word via a PlayStation Blog post that the God of War Collection has gone gold and will ship in November.

The Collection will include the games, God of War and God of War II, re-mastered in stunning HD. The two games will also include full trophy support, and the trophies are a way for the creative team to share some of their stories and inside jokes from the two games. For example, the ‘Speed of Jason McDonald’ trophy was named after Jason McDonald, who is currently a Senior Combat Designer on God of War III, set the best time running through the game.

The blog gives the full list of trophies for both the God of War and God of War II re-mastered games. The God of War Collection will officially ship to retail stores on November 17, 2009.
