Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is the latest in the Marvel vs. Capcom series of action games. The fighting game combines the best of both, the Marvel and Capcom worlds and features many recognizable characters. We earlier reported that Capcom had revealed a PSN demo version of the action fighter game. Now, we have word that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be available through the PlayStation Network this August.
The last installment in the Marvel vs. Capcom series will feature all new visuals and will be the first in the franchise not to have unique character-based endings. New characters featuring in the game include, Anakaris, Baby Bonnie Hood, Guile, Tron Bonne, Servbot, Cable, Marrow and Wolverine in his normal bone skeleton avatar. Players can now choose from an expansive roster of 56 characters.
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will arrive on the PlayStation Network on Thursday, August 13, 2009 and the game is expected to be priced at USD 15.00 (approx. Rs. 730). The PSN version of the game is developed by Foundation 9.
