Goat Simulator’s Mass Effect parody expansion hits the PS4 today

Being the radical and hilarious little game that it is, Goat Simulator has been receiving more funny content since its launch back in 2014. In May last year, a Mass Effect parody expansion named Waste of Space hit the PC version of the title, and it’s all set to hit the PlayStation 4 today.

The timing is perfect; its release is just in time for the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda which hasn’t quite opened to extremely positive reviews. But it’s not just the popular BioWare RPG series it’s taking a dig at; this expansion pokes fun at everything from Star Wars to Star Trek and even Alien. Watch the trailer in the space below and you’ll know.

The Waste of Time DLC for Goat Simulator has you trying to crowdfund a space colony and ‘get other people to pay for it and do all the work.’ There will be space fights, large maps and much more. Not to forget, Mass Effect-style romances as well.

Goat Simulator

For those unaware, Goat Simulator was initially built only as a joke at a game jam. However, its online videos caused so much excitement that the makers were forced to create a full-fledged game out of it. It debuted on PC in April 2014, and has made its way to a number of other platforms since then.

The Waste of Space expansion for Goat Simulator is expected to retail at around $5 USD (approx Rs 250) on the PS Store. Its listing should pop up on the said distribution platform very soon.
