Goat Simulator parodies World of Warcraft in latest free expansion

Goat Simulator has been around since 6 months now, and it continues to amaze gamers even today as to how such a simple and lazily built game can grab such high popularity. Anyway, its developers are now ready with the second expansion for the title, which takes potshots at none other than World of Warcraft. This new MMO themed expansion parodies the popular title with its fresh offerings and doesn’t hesitate in the process.

And you won’t even have to wait for long in order to download it onto your systems, as the Goat MMO Simulator DLC is set to be made available through Steam on Thursday, November 20. It will place the goat inside a world inspired from the World of Warcraft MMO, and will allow gamers to wreak havoc in it, just like they do in the other maps from the game. Moreover, you will also be able to choose between five different classes, namely warrior, rouge, magician, hunter and”¦ microwave. Yes, microwave!

A number of quests will be made available through this expansion, apart from the ability to level up. Developed by Coffee Stain Studios, this game was initially intended to be a joke prototype made at the developer’s internal game jam. Its YouTube videos were met with such excitement that they finally decided to make an actual product out if it. It has you assuming control of a goat from the third-person perspective and trying to do as much damage to the world around you as you can.

Goat Simulator can now be purchased for PC, Mac and Linux through Steam, while a mobile version is currently available for Android and iOS devices as well. There’s even an Xbox One edition in the works moreover.
