Goat Simulator ready for boxed release, getting parkour update soon

Delighting gamers with its wired yet extremely enjoyable offerings right now is Goat Simulator, a game that started off as a joke and soon ended up as an actual title which you can download now on PC. News coming in is that its next update will also contain parkour mechanics. Moreover, its publisher has even announced a boxed release for the title, which has been kept limited only to the UK at the moment.

Coffee Stain Studios had revealed that update 1.1 to Goat Simulator will infuse it with local split-screen multiplayer as well as a whole new map this May. It has now gone ahead and said that the same patch will also contain goat parkour mechanics, allowing it to balance on its front legs and run along walls. As ridiculous as it sounds, this feature will also be accompanied with the ability for the creature to ride bikes.

May 23 has been marked as the UK release date for the boxed version of Goat Simulator. However, its makers have shied away from disclosing any pricing information. It is also unknown if it will contain any added features or just the base game. We’ll have more on it when either the publisher or the developer speak on the matter.

For now, those who wish to experience the hilarity of Goat Simulator can head over to Steam to download it onto their PCs at a price of 9.99 USD (approx. Rs 605).
