The highly anticipated third-person shooter title, Sniper Elite V2, has finally been unchained and let loose for fans out there. Being a remake of the Sniper Elite game which previously debuted in 2005, this new release from Rebellion Developments is aimed towards the Microsoft Windows OS and popular gaming platform such as the Xbox 360 and PS3.
This tactical shooter title takes place during the latter days of World War II, bearing a similar setting to its 2005 sibling. Gamers will play the role of protagonist Karl Fairburne, an undercover American OSS agent who embarks on a mission to unfurl the hidden mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket program before the Red Army lays hands on it.

For better precision in aim, players will have to take factors like wind, gravity and stability into consideration, while skillful shots are said to be rewarded with the ‘kill cam’ view which displays a slow motion sequence of the successful kill. The game comes with a single-player campaign that’s accompanied by a 2-player online co-op mode which includes Kill Tally, Bombing Run, Overwatch and Campaign gameplay.
The Sniper Elite V2 price amounts to 49.99 USD (approx Rs. 2,680) for PC. The game is available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles, as well as Windows which can be downloaded through Steam.
