International Cricket 2010 coming in June

To coincide with the NatWest Series between England and Australia this summer, Codemasters will release its latest cricket game, International Cricket 2010, in the UK in June this year. The game will be released in India by Zapak. International Cricket 2010 is being developed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 by Trickstar Games.

International Cricket 2010 will feature official players, stadia and team kits. The game will introduce ‘Action Cam’, a new camera which puts players right onto the pitch, as well as other innovations and improvements such as ‘Power Stick’, which is said to give 360 degree control, delivering the most authentic cricket experience. The game will have various game modes such as new instant tournaments, full test series, as well as quick-fire Twenty20 matches.

Speaking at the launch of the game, Rohit Sharma, CEO, Zapak Digital Entertainment commented, “Codemasters are a global leader in producing the best cricket games. International Cricket 2010 promises the most immersive and engaging gameplay with action like never before to all cricket enthusiasts. India is a cricket loving nation and I am sure that they will enjoy every bit of this game.”

International Cricket 2010 will release in the UK and in India on June 18, 2010. The game will be distributed in India by Zapak with its 5000 retail outlets spread across 135 cities in the country.
