Guitar Hero 5’s Last 15 Set-list Tracks Revealed

Guitar Hero 5 is the upcoming music game from Activision, and it was recently confirmed that Santana would be appearing as a playable character in the game. Now Activision has gone one step further, announcing the final 15 tracks which fit into the impressive 85 track set-list for Guitar Hero 5, the biggest ever roster of tracks and artists to feature on the set-list of any music based game.

    Bleed American – Jimmy Eat World.
    Brianstorm – Arctic Monkeys.
    Kryptonite – 3 Doors Down.
    Looks That Kill – Mötley Crüe.
    Plug In Baby – Muse.
    Ring Of Fire – Johnny Cash.
    Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana.
    Steady As She Goes – The Raconteurs.
    Sultans Of Swing – Dire Straits.
    Superstition – Stevie Wonder.
    Sweating Bullets – Megadeth.
    The Rock Show – Blink-182.
    Under Pressure – Queen & David Bowie.
    Wolf Like Me – TV On The Radio.

All the 85 songs can be accessed by players, right from the start of the game and players don’t need to play through to unlock song after song. Guitar Hero 5 gives players more creative freedom and any combination of instruments such as multiple vocalists, guitarists, bassists and drummers, in any game mode can be used. The Party Play Mode allows players to jump in and out of a jam session, without the need for a restart.

Guitar Hero 5 is developed by Neversoft Entertainment and is published by Activision Publishing for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Nintendo Wii version is in development by Vicarious Visions, while the PS2 version is being developed by Budcat. Prices for the various versions of the game are not known, but Guitar Hero 5 is scheduled to ship on September 1, 2009.
