Rock Band Music Store to get Foreigner and more Warped Tour tracks this week

Harmonix and MTV Games recently added a Maroon 5 three track pack and 5 songs from artists featuring in this year’s Warped Tour to the Rock Band Music Store. They have now announced plans to add a few more songs to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content this week, from Foreigner and this year’s Warped Tour artists.

Rock Band Foreigner Track Pack

Started in 1994, Warped Tour is an international music and sports festival. An annual event, the festival manages to attract an eclectic line up of performing bands and features many BMX and pro skating exhibitions. The songs featured in the new Warped Tour pack are Image of the Invisible by Thrice, Hey John, What’s Your Name Again? from artist The Devil Wears Prada, and Sweet Talk from Dear and the Headlights.

Foreigner, formed in 1976, has sold more than 50 million albums globally. The band’s three track pack features the songs Blue Morning Blue Day, Feels Like the First Time and Head Knocker. In addition to these songs, one more track will be featured on the Rock Band Music Store this week. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club’s Weapon of Choice from their 2007 album Baby 81 will mark the band’s Rock Band debut.

Harmonix and MTV Games will make the tracks available on the Xbox Live Marketplace on June 30, 2009 and on the PlayStation Store on July 2, 2009. Both, The Warped Tour 02 Pack and Foreigner Pack will be available for USD 5.49 (approx Rs.265) each or 440 Microsoft Points each. Individual tracks will cost USD 1.99 (approx Rs.95) or 160 Microsoft Points.
