Rock Band Track Pack Classic Rock coming in May 2009: Harmonix

Harmonix, MTV Games and distribution partner Electronic Arts have said that they plan to release the Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock for the Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii across North America on May 19, 2009. Many tracks packs have been released such as the ‘Get The Funk Out 01’ pack, and Rock Band: The Beatles is set to be released on September 9, 2009.

Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock is a standalone software pack which is aimed at extending the music experience for Rock Band 2 owners. The pack features some of the best classic rock and is compatible with all Rock Band instrument controllers and other such music-based videogame peripherals. The Track Pack features artists such as Boston, Police, Rush and The Who.

Rock Band players who purchase the Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock for the Xbox 360 and PS3 can either play directly from the disc, or download the songs onto their hard drives through a free offer with Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network. When downloaded, these tracks will automatically be added to the player’s custom library.

The Rock Band Track Pack: Classic Rock is available for a price of 29.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,515) and is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2009 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PS2 and the Nintendo Wii home console.
