Elden Ring Performance Issues Being Acknowledged By Publisher

Elden Ring

Elden Ring has been released to the kind of acclaim that could place it among the best-reviewed games of all time. However, its launch hasn’t come without its fair share of problems. Several performance issues on PC, as well as a, save data loss bug on the PS5 have been reported and publisher Bandai Namco has now acknowledged them.

On PC, the most reported issue that Elden Ring players have been facing is the mouse being a little too sensitive. Moreover, there’s also the problem of the game’s anti-cheat software not loading when it starts. There are even problems with its framerate that Bandai Namco has announced will be worked on.

As for the PS5 version of Elden Ring, players have reported save data loss when the console is unexpectedly turned off while it is being played or is in rest mode. A patch has been promised for this as well, but in the meantime, the temporary solution seems to be saving the game manually and exiting it by opening the system menu using the OPTIONS button and selecting Quit Game.

Elden Ring has been developed by FromSoftware and is very much rooted in the studio’s action-RPG formula that was established by the Dark Souls series. Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin was roped for working on the fantasy setting of this game.

Elden Ring is available for purchase right now on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
