Fallout 4 getting official mod support this April

Fallout 4 has been out for quite a few months now, and fans are eager to dive into the official mod support that has been promised by the developers. They will hence be happy to know that it will be arriving sometime this April.

This news comes straight from the game’s director, Todd Howard who has said that mod support will first arrive for the PC version of Fallout 4. The Xbox One edition is expected to receive it one month later, with the PS4 having been slated to get it the month after that.

While speaking to Game Informer, Howard also talked about the upcoming Fallout 4 DLC. This content will be arriving in the form of three packs, all of which will be covered under the game’s Season Pass.

Fallout 4

The first one among them is called Automatron, and will be hitting the scene this March. Priced at $10, it has players fighting against a horde of robots unleashed by the evil Mechanist. This Fallout 4 DLC will allow you to customize your own mechanical companions with the help of parts gathered from destroying the robots.

As for the second DLC, it is called Wasteland Workshop. It will arrive in April with its price tagged at just $5. This content will involve players in designing and placing to capture live creatures that can later be entered into fights.

The last piece of Fallout 4 DLC is called Far Harbor, and contains a fresh set of main quests taking place on a mysterious island off the coast of Maine. It will be priced at $25, and will be made available this May.

Coming back to mods, it’s no secret that unofficial mods can already be applied to Fallout 4 right now.
