Final Fantasy 15 may be headed to PC

Final Fantasy 15 or Final Fantasy XV has a lot of hopes riding on it, and Square Enix would naturally want more gamers from all over the world to get to play it. It’s hence apparently prepping up a PC version of the JRPG as well, in addition to the main PS4 and Xbox One entries.

Evidence of this version’s existence has been spotted on the website of Square Enix’s Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event which is to be held in March. It’s hence being speculated that the PC edition of this offering will be unveiled there for the first time.

A NeoGAF user named KupoNut managed to find the references in question by diving into the event page’s JavaScript. As revealed by GameZone, he/she came across placeholders for Steam and Windows 10, apart from placeholders for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It has also been garnered from the code that pages for a trailer, schedule, FAQ and livestream will be added to the event page in the near future. KupoNut has moreover noted that similar code was earlier used by Square Enix for the Rise of the Tomb Raider page.

Final Fantasy XV will be set in the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries which even featured in Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Type-0. The game will include the series’ signature gameplay that will be complemented by an open world environment and an action-based battle system similar to the one in Kingdom Hearts.
