Millions are looking forward to the launch of Fallout 4, likely one of the top selling releases this year, taking place this November. Apart from the PS4, this game will also be released for the Xbox One and PC, but those who will be buying it for Sony’s console will be able to play it on one more device.
Yes, Fallout 4 has been confirmed to be compatible with Remote Play standards, allowing gamers to stream it on their PS Vita console via their PS4. The news comes straight from the horse’s mouth, as Bethesda Game Studios itself has tweeted an image of the title running on Sony’s handheld device.
When you’re playing a game meant for home consoles on a much smaller machine with pretty dissimilar control mechanisms. It’s hence very important to get the control scheme on the PS Vita right, and Bethesda has chosen the right man for the job.

The tweet mentions that Josh Hamrick will be handling the control scheme of Fallout 4’s Remote Play version. He has previously handled the PS Vita version of Destiny, for which a custom Remote Play control setup was created by him from scratch. A Kotaku report from last year mentions that this method worked quite well for the game.

Fans have extremely high expectations from Fallout 4, and rightfully so. The previous titles from this action-RPG series have proved to be some of the most successful games of all time.
