Fallout 4 to run at 1080p and 30fps on ‘everything,’ says game director

One of the hottest topics in the gaming world right now is Fallout 4, and naturally any news related to it is gladly welcomed by fans. They can now wrap their heads around the fact that the title’s director himself has confirmed the game to be ready to run at 1080p at 30fps on ‘everything.’

That final word is open to interpretation, but the most obvious reference goes to the PS4, the Xbox One and PC. This will definitely damage the expectations of PC gamers, but the word has come directly from the mouth of Bethesda Game Studios’ Todd Howard who revealed this to Digital Spy during the E3.

PC gamers actually have the flexibility of upgrading their hardware in order to extract the sweet 60fps output and even 4K resolutions these days. It’ll be a shame if Fallout 4 came locked at 1080p and 30fps.

However, it seems that will indeed not be the case and the misunderstanding has occurred due to a misinterpretation of Howard’s statement. That’s because Pete Hines, Bethesda Softworks’ vice president and PR in charge has conveyed via Twitter that framerates haven’t yet been discussed by them at all.
