Project Cars 2 announced already, dev goes for crowdfunding model

Project Cars 2 has just been announced by Slightly Mad Studios, and it hasn’t even been 2 months since its predecessor’s launch. It has revealed that the game will go through a crowdfunding campaign on WMD Portal, and will feature more tracks and modes than the current offering.

Project Cars 2 will essentially be a huge update to the prequel that was launched on May 7 this year. It will come equipped with 50 unique locations and more than 200 tracks that will have their surfaces vary from dirt, gravel, mud, snow and more. Moreover, each of these tracks will feature dynamic time and weather systems to make the gameplay more immersive.

Slightly Mad Studios will also be infusing the game with 8 different race types including Rallycross, Hillclimbs and Touge. And that’s not all; it has announced that over 200 cars from more than 40 different vehicle classes will be seen in Project Cars 2. The game will also kick in a co-op career mode, social integration, online matchmaking support and a practice mode.
