Darksiders II: Abyssal Forge DLC announced

The second downloadable content pack for Darksiders II, dubbed Abyssal Forge, is due to release by the end of this month for the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well as PC. The first piece of DLC was launched back in September, a month after the title hit stores. This latest package will not be available for free, unlike the first which was only for pre-orders by the way.

Darksiders II: Abyssal Forge

The Darksiders official blog has detailed out the new content. For starters, it takes players to a new gameplay zone that’s a vast swamp-like called Shadow Lands. The name Abyssal Forge comes from a machine that’s capable of creating powerful legendary weapons. This living beast and its maker ‘the Mad Smith’ have been rejected by their people and sealed away within the Shadow Lands where the Forge has managed to build an army which is capable of annihilating all of creation.

The first add-on took players to a far-away icy land which featured new dungeons and puzzles amongst others.
