Darksiders 2 came out last month, and after meeting with favorable reviews, the game is all set to be infused with its first DLC pack which comes in the form of Argul’s Tomb. This sequel to the much loved 2010 hit by Vigil Games has its story revolve around one of the four horsemen of apocalypse, Death. And the new content will expand his story with another chapter in his journey.
The fresh scenarios are set on a far-away icy land, and will kick in new dungeons, puzzles as well as legendary items. It features a tomb that is fraught with a number of secrets. The developer has released a video of the DLC through IGN. It reveals that the content will be split into three areas set within the newly introduced icy location.
One among them turns the game into an ‘action-packed’ on-rails shooter, whereas the other two are dungeons filled with advanced puzzles for gamers to solve. The DLC will be made available for free to all those who pre-ordered the game prior to its launch for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. There’s even a Wii U version lined up for release later this year, and it has been confirmed that this edition will ship along with Argul’s Tomb at launch.
The price and release date information of the Argul’s Tomb DLC for Darksiders 2 hasn’t been announced as yet. But it has however been disclosed that it will be coming out within in a few weeks through PSN, Xbox Live and Steam.
