EA’s latest action RPG released just last month, will be seen getting its first story-driven DLC on March 20, 2012. Announced to be made available through PSN, Xbox Live and Steam, this pack will contain a new continent named Gallows End wherein, gamers will be provided with a vast personal estate as well as other new features.
The fresh DLC for KoA: Reckoning is named The Legend of Dead Kel and supposedly kicks in a mysterious tale of intrigue, danger and dark magic. Moreover, new characters, enemies, weapons, side quests and battles will also form a part of the content. Now side quests aren’t the only missions making their way into The Legend of Dead Kel, as it will also contain a new questline filled with dungeons and NPCs. In totality, the overall increase in the additional land that can be explored by gamers upon downloading this pack comes up to 15 percent.
Among the inventory, the fresh additions include eight armor sets, eight shields and eighteen unique weapons. Various new enemies and enemy variants, a new dungeon type called Dverga Fastings and three Twists of Fate would also be offered by the DLC. The Gravehal Keep section on the map makes for a new player housing which comprises multiple buildings and characters that have their own back-stories, side quests, perks and quirks.
This new DLC for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is yet to be priced, but it has been confirmed that it will hit PSN, Xbox Live and Steam on March 20.
