The highly awaited action RPG, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, has finally made its way to the gaming terrain. The creative team behind the much-anticipated title includes the likes of Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, author R.A. Salvatore and game designer Ken Rolston. This newly released offering is apparently an amalgamation of an open-world RPG experience and visceral action combat elements which bring forth loads of combination options in terms of armor, weapons and moves.
Taking the overall action experience up a notch, 38 studios along with EA have unveiled a digital download pack entitled House of Valor which is slated to bring seven exclusive quests to the fore. Players will be challenged by the Grand Champion, Tyr Magnus, as they plunge into the Valor Arena where they would have to face numerous hurdles and barbaric tournaments in order to gain control of the level. Along the way, gamers will interact with various rivals as well as new companions.

The House of Valor also enables action enthusiasts to access the Arena Battle Board for indulging in an infinite number of combat challenges. They can further earn rewards and unique items when bonus objectives within the challenges are successfully completed. This includes eliminating all the foes without even getting a scratch, among others such feats. The download pack which is a non-transferable registration code is bundled along with the full retail purchase.
Those without the code can acquire a Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Online Pass on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN for 800 Microsoft Points and 9.99 Euros (approx. Rs. 651), respectively. The Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning price reads as 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,930).
