Starting today, gamers will be able to download the new Dungeon Defenders Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC on their PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The PC version of this new content was released on December 16, 2011 through Steam.
This DLC is just part one of a series of such downloads planned for the popular action RPG. It is said to endow gamers with a first look outside their castles and into the title’s vibrant universe. Each and every quest will allow players to experience an entirely new campaign map as well as a fresh PvP map. Moreover, challenge missions with new story cinematics, enemies, weapons, pets, bosses and more would also be included in the downloads.
A series of four such DLCs are on the cards currently, with the latter three yet to get their release dates. But PC gamers can still purchase a Complete Pack of all the content through Steam at a discounted price of 9.75 USD (approx. Rs. 516). They shall be provided with DLCs as they launch and will also receive early access to Nightmare Mode. This mode offers an even harder difficulty level and integrates all the new enemies into the full campaign.
Said to be one of the fastest selling downloadable games of all time, this title comprises elements from both tower defense and action RPG genres. Gamers can team up and fight across fifteen maps, thirty challenges and four difficulty settings, while controlling one of the four characters who must fight back an ancient evil.
The Dungeon Defenders Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards DLC can now be purchased via PSN, Xbox Live and Steam, with the latter version selling at 3.99 USD (approx. Rs. 211).
