Rockstar Games has announced on its blog that lucky gamers who participate in their latest contest will get a chance to have their face entrenched on one of the eight gang characters in the multiplayer mode of Max Payne 3. All fans need to do is, use ‘#MaxPayne3’ as a hashtag on Twitter.
From December 16, 2011 to January 13, 2012, every week, ten gamers will be selected by Rockstar Games at random. Out of these ten, the one selected would be contacted via tweets or direct messages and will be requested for photographs. Two finalists will then be picked up from each group, who will have their faces featured on the multiplayer characters in the upcoming game.
“Every week from now until January 13th, we’ll be selecting ten people at random that we’ve spotted using the #MaxPayne3 hashtag. If you’re one of those chosen, we’ll contact you either via tweet or direct message to request a picture of you for consideration. We’ll then pick two finalists from each group each week (eight people in total) who will have their likeness appear as a multiplayer gang character in our upcoming action shooter Max Payne 3,” read a post on the blog.
Gamers who wish to partake in this contest must make sure that they are following @RockstarGames on Twitter and using the above mentioned hashtag while talking about the game. All those who get contacted by Rockstar Games will have just 48 hours to respond to the developer.
Those yearning to have their faces featured on one of the multiplayer characters in Max Payne 3 must start Tweeting now with the hashtag ‘#MaxPayne3,’ as the contest is valid only till January 13, 2012.
