A few days ago we reported that Sacred 2: Fallen Angel had been dated for the Xbox and PS3. Although the Xbox 360 version had gone gold, the version of the game for the PS3 was still pending. Well, now cdv Software Entertainment USA and Ascaron Entertainment have announced that Sacred 2 has gone gold for the PS3 as well.
The game is set inside a massive seamless world which houses tough opponents, huge dungeons and hundreds of tricky quests. Enemies in the game are extremely intelligent, adapting in difficulty and number to the player’s progress in the game. It features valiant single and multiplayer battles in which up to four players can play on the next-gen consoles.
No prices have been revealed yet for the hack and slash action role playing game set some 2000 years before the first game in the series. Sacred 2: Fallen Angel for the PS3 and Xbox 360 is scheduled to be released in the North American region on May 12, 2009.
