Sacred 2 Fallen Angel for Consoles Officially Dated

The release of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel for consoles was earlier delayed. Now we have heard that the game for the Xbox 360 has gone gold and will make its rescheduled May 12, 2009 release date in North American regions. According to a statement by the company, Europe gets the game on June 5, 2009. Also, Gamespot is reporting that the PS3 version of the game is not yet completed but is expected to launch for both consoles on the said date.

The game is an epic fantasy in which players must embark on a journey as a soldier to either heal the land from chaos or thrust the land further into it. Sacred 2 Fallen Angel features an open world which the German developer claims to have more than 22 miles of in-game terrain. On the Xbox 360, two players can play offline and up to four players can play via the Xbox Live, while on the PS3, 2 players can play offline too, and up to four can play via the PSN.

Sacred 2 is a hack-and-slash action role playing game developed by Ascaron Entertainment. The PC version of the game was released in November 2008 and apparently had a lot of issues and bugs which needed resolving.
