Though various simulation / role playing games have been released on the Nintendo DS, only a few have been launched for the Wii. But now Japanese video games magazine Famitsu is reporting that Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii has been announced by Marvelous Entertainment.
Rune Factory Frontier is expected to feature characters from the first game like main protagonist, Raguna and one of the bacheloretes, Mist. There will be new characters also. It is set on the uncharted islands of Tranlupia and will have such as earth, water, stone, and grass that can be found in different parts of the town. And yes, the elements are correlated to each other.
Rune Factory Frontier for the Nintendo Wii is expected to be out later this year. But it will be released in Japan and there is no word if it will hit the western shores. The previous two games in the series have been released on the Nintendo DS. This is the first game from the series to be made for the Wii.
