Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 for Nintendo Wii Unveiled by D3Publisher

Back in October 2007, a fighting game called as Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution was released for Nintendo’s next generation console. Now D3Publisher of America (D3PA) and TOMY Corporation has sent word about the sequel for the game. Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 has been designed specially for the North American audience.

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 will feature a fast-paced gameplay experience along with quality fighting game mechanics. The storyline of the game is set after Sasuke leaves the Leaf Village to get more power from Orochimaru. The game will have lots of playable characters and some of them have been designed particularly for the storyline. It will also have destructible stages and four-player multiplayer battles.

Laura Yoshiok is the director of consumer software at TOMY Corporation. She stated, “Because Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 is an original title for the U.S., we have had the opportunity to blend new features with the best elements from the previous games. In addition to the new storyline, we have worked closely with the development studio, Eighting, to apply fan feedback. We vigorously pursued advice from tournament players to update the fighting mechanics and create balanced characters to improve the gameplay experience.”

Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 for the Nintendo Wii is expected to be out in the fall season of 2008. It will support widescreen (16:9) and progressive scan at 480p. The game has been made on a well-balanced and a polished fighting engine. D3Publisher had previously announced Clash of Ninja MVZ for Nintendo’s next generation console.
