The Lost Hobo King add-on for Stacking now Available via PSN, XBLA

Back in November, Double Fine team of Brutal Legend fame along with THQ announced that their latest game namely Stacking would release in 2011. With the month of February, the engaging title made its downloadable appearance onto the gaming scene. The companies now unleash an add-on called The Lost Hobo King for the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

The newly released content sees Charlie journeying to the kingdom of Camelfoot in order to aid his hobo pal known as Levi who is burdened with an important family issue. The heir to the throne who is Levi’s uncle Rufus can only take to the throne once the lost crown has been found. It is now up to Charlie to find the fragmented crown and use his talents against obstacles that are set forth by ancient hobo mystics. Only when he emerges successful will the crown be re-forged and the fractured hobo people reunited in one sardine can.

“The Lost Hobo King includes the same charisma as Stacking with an added layer of hilarity,” commented Martin Good, THQ’s Executive Vice President of Kids, Family and Casual Games.

Project Lead, Lee Petty further stated, “With the Lost Hobo King, we’ve expanded the world of Stacking by developing the mythos and identity of the ancient Hobo people. Charlie’s bravery and cleverness will help bring unity to a fractured people because, after all, helping is the Hobo way.”

The downloadable pack offers a new storyline complete with Double Fine’s signature charm and a fully realized environment. Various new challenges are open to players with each of them having their own multiple solutions. New mischief making hi-jinks, trophies and achievements are also endowed in the engaging add-on. Furthermore, the content includes over 15 new unique dolls with unique abilities.

The Lost Hobo King add-on for Stacking can be purchased for 400 Microsoft Points and 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 220) from the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network respectively.
