This Is Your Last Chance To Claim Free PS Plus Collection Games

The Last Of Us Remastered

When Sony launched the PS5 in 2020, there was a visible lack of content for the new-gen console. That’s probably what prompted it to release the PS Plus Collection, a set of 19 PS4-era games that all Plus subscribers could freely download and play on their PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Over the years, the collection has remained in the PS Store as is but that’s about to change. Monday, May 9 is when the PS Plus Collection will cease to exist but there’s still a silver lining.

As you may know, these games could be claimed and played only by PS Plus subscribers. So, all members of the service who claim them before May 9 will be able to keep them in their library and play them as long as they are subscribers to PS Plus.

And this will work not just for those on the Premium and Extra plans but also for those on the Essential plan. A few of these games are currently not available under any of the three plans.

The PS Plus Collection features a diverse list of PlayStation hits, with all of them coming from big-name developers like Naughty Dog, Rocksteady Studios, From Software, Sucker Punch Productions, and more. The list of games includes:

  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Ratchet and Clank

As we said, the PS Plus Collection section will vanish from the PS Store from May 9 onwards. Go ahead and claim the titles using your PS Plus subscription, so you can download them later.
