The best builds for PvE in the new release of Destiny 2 Lightfall

Have you played Lightfall – the last release of Destiny 2? Despite the initial, sometimes strange criticism, the subclass turned out to be pretty good and allows you to collect very interesting PvE builds.

This release is quite difficult for beginners, which is why many players prefer to apply for destiny 2 boosting instead of suffering through complex content on their own. There you can collect the necessary builds with which it will be easier for you to play, order the passage of difficult sections, and get exotic weapons and equipment. This saves time and effort. If you want to collect builds yourself, then check out our article. In this article, we will analyze several interesting options.

Hunter – Survival

It is a universal or, so to speak, everyday build that significantly increases your survivability, and mobility in certain situations, allowing you to instantly reload weapons and destroy groups of opponents at once. For us, it has become almost the main build for completing most activities, except for very specific options where invisibility is needed. For example, a new hidden mission on legendary difficulty (because of the stage with the Hydra).

You will need the following:

destiny 2 lightfall Equipment: Cyrtarachne’s Facade – after using the hook, you get the Woven Mail buff for 10 seconds while the shell is active, and reduces camera shake when using the scope.

Capabilities:

  • Grapple
  • Threaded spike
  • Gambler’s Dodge

Aspects: Widow’s Silk – adds a second grenade charge and when hooked at an anchor point creates a fixed knot for approximately 15 seconds.

Fragments:

  • Thread of Generation – dealing damage to enemies restores grenade energy.
  • Thread of Ascent – using a grenade, you reload the weapon (cooldown effect 4 seconds) and for 15 seconds increase the indicator of convenience, and efficiency in the air.
  • Thread of Transmutation – weapon kills create a weave when the shell is active.
  • Thread of Fury – Dealing damage with the weave restores a decent amount of melee ability energy.

The main concept of the build revolves around Cyrtarachne’s Facade helmet, which allows you to constantly maintain the shell, and to activate the effect, the player just needs to lower the camera down and throw a hook under the character’s legs.

Mods (helmets):

  • Heavy (or Special) Ammo Finder. A box of heavy/special ammo can fall out of the enemy when a character is killed.
  • Heavy (or Special) Ammo Scout. A box for allies drops out of the character since the locator creates a box of heavy/special ammo.
  • Ashes to Assets – a character gets super energy (but it should be killed with a grenade).
  • Hands-On – a character gains super energy when killed with a melee ability.

Mods (arms):

  • Heavy Handed – when you kill with the help of a melee ability, you produce an orb of power.
  • Firepower – when you kill with a grenade, you create a sphere of power. This mod is activated by a melee hook attack and we immediately get 2 spheres of power, since such a kill is considered a kill with a grenade and a melee ability at the same time.
  • Impact Induction – dealing with melee damage or a melee ability it restores grenade energy. Since the hunter’s spike hits multiple targets at once, you restore a decent amount of energy.

Mods (chest):

For example, you can take protection from AOE attacks + protection from a certain type of damage based on the situation/activity.

Mods (boots):

  • Recuperation – picking up a sphere of power, you instantly restore a fairly large piece of health. Since it is now very easy to create spheres, this mod is mandatory.
  • Orbs of Restoration – Once gamers pick up an Orb of Power, they gain energy for the skill with the fewest fills. A strictly optional piece of equipment that may be substituted with a second Void Weapon Surge.
  • Void Weapon Surge – your Void Weapon Surge’s damage is raised by 10% when you have at least 1 Armor. Note: 2 copies increase damage by 17% and 3 – by 22%.

Mods (cloak):

  • Time Dilation – it extends the timer, which gradually consumes armor charges. You lose 1 charge every 10 seconds by default, but if you install two of these modifications, the period increases to 18 seconds.

Warlock – Mass SS

Among all thread warlock build, this option is the most interesting, simple, effective, and, from a certain point of view, deadly. It allows you to easily control groups of enemies and safely eliminate them while they are hanging helplessly in the air.

You will need the following:

Equipment: there are two options.

  1. Osteo Striga + Necrotic Grip.
  2. Rufus’s Fury raid machine with the Saboteur + Verity’s Brow perk.

Capabilities: Shackle Grenade – on hit it suspends enemies within the radius of destruction.

Aspects: Mindspun Invocation – it improves grenades by adding new properties to them.

Fragments:

  • Thread of Generation.
  • Thread of Mind – when you destroy a suspended target, you gain the energy of a class ability.
  • Thread of Continuity – it extends the duration of all thread effects.
  • Thread of Warding – picking up an orb of power will give you a shell.

The main build concept revolves around the said aspect of Mindspun Invocation and the Binding Grenade. Having absorbed the latter, the character receives a special buff for 25 seconds, which, after the destruction of the enemy, causes an explosion that suspends all affected targets. The first set of equipment, thanks to the synergy of poisonous explosions, allows you to spread the second one more efficiently, and the second one makes it easier to restore grenade energy if opponents are far away / or there are few of them.

Mods (helmet):

Everything is the same as for the hunter, only instead of Void Siphon we take the physical version (for the first set) or the threaded one (for the second set).

Mods (arms):

  • Grenade Kickstart – after using a grenade, it absorbs all available armor charges and gives grenade energy.
  • Heavy Handed.

Mods (chest):

Charged Up – it adds one to the maximum amount of armor charges.

Mods (boots):

Recovery.

  • Insulation (Picking up an Orb of Power gives you the power of a class ability).
  • Stacks on Stacks (If you pick up an Orb of Power, you get two armor instead of one).

Mods (cloak):

  • Bomber – a player receives the grenade’s energy following the use of a class ability.
  • Reaper – a player uses a class ability, and the next kill with a weapon is guaranteed to produce a sphere of power.

Released a little over a month ago, the major addition Lightfall brought to Destiny 2 is not only a new plot, activities, season, and various changes but also a 2 subclass of darkness, called Strand.
