Gran Turismo 7 Leak Reveals Big Details

Gran Turismo 7 doesn’t release until March 2021 but while its makers are still being secretive about its details, an official pamphlet given away at a Japanese retail store has revealed some new information. It states that the upcoming racing simulation game will include 420 different car models and more than 90 racing tracks.

This pamphlet reached the folks over at GT Planet, who claim that it was being distributed at an electronics store. It goes on to state that Gran Turismo 7 will bring back the series’ famed GT Mode, allowing players to “enjoy the car life” and “buying, selling, and tuning the cars and racing.”

Among the other things to have been discovered through this booklet is the existence of something called Brand Central, which will be sort of a shopping mall where over 60 automobile brands will assemble. It will allow you to purchase over 300 cars manufacturer after 2011.

Gran Turismo 7 is also poised to include a Used Cars Dealer, where you’ll find cars that have been discontinued for a long time. The game’s garage apparently allows you to store up to 1,000 cars. The GT Auto segment lets you try out 130 wheels and over 600 aero parts. The pamphlet also mentions over 2500 photo locations set in 40 countries all over the world where players will be able to click amazing HDR images of their rides.

Gran Turismo 7 marks a return to the classic nature of the series after 2017’s Gran Turismo Sport focused on multiplayer racing. The new game will feature a full-fledged career mode and come with raytracing support and DualSense features incorporated on the PS5.

March 4 is when Gran Turismo 7 is slated to be released for the PS4 and the PS5 next year.
