Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection Gets A Release Date

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection January 28 has been marked as the release date for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection by Sony. This package will include remastered versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and its standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and will be made available for the PS5 on the said date.

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will also mark the first time that a game from the series releases for PC. However, a release date for this PC version has not been provided as yet. Many graphical improvements have gone into this collection, as revealed by Sony through a blog post.

The games will allow players to choose from three graphics modes. In Fidelity, 4K visuals will be targeted so the framerate will stay at 30fps. In Performance mode, the priority will be 60fps framerates. As for the Performance+ mode, 120fps framerates at 1080p resolutions will be the aim. Spatial 3D Audio, as well as DualSense support, will also be there.

The  Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be sold at $49.99 digitally as well as physically. However, those who already own copies of either of the two games or the bundle containing both of them will be able to upgrade to this package at just $10. This upgrade will be made available to them on January 28.

Do remember that PS Plus players who got Uncharted 4 through the PS Plus Collection won’t be eligible for the $10 upgrade. It must also be noted that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will not include the multiplayer portion from Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Speaking of the PC version of the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, Sony has confirmed that it will be sold through Steam and the Epic Games Store whenever it arrives.
