Among Us Getting Hide And Seek Mode Among Other Things

Among Us

Among Us devs definitely weren’t lying when they said they’ve ditched a sequel in favor of adding all their new ideas to the current game. After just having released a new map, they have now revealed that a Hide ‘n Seek mode is all set to enter the game soon, apart from several other new features.

Developer Innersloth hasn’t revealed how exactly the Hide ‘n Seek mode will work, but it has given a small glimpse of it in the video posted down below. Apparently, Among Us players will be given a very tiny radius for spotting other players, requiring them to scan the whole room by traversing it. And it looks like the maps will also receive slight tweaks when playing Hide ‘n Seek.

Among Us is also getting Achievements soon, while a new map is under development for it as well. No details about this map have been revealed yet. Some other things the devs are working on include account-linking support between platforms, visor cosmetics for more customization, and, of course, the game’s console releases.

A big new addition is set to be two new roles, apart from crewmates and imposters. No details of them have been revealed, but we do know that they will be called scientists and sheriffs. All these features will be part of further updates to the game, so expect some time to pass before you get to see them.

What’ll be added in the latest update is support for 15-player matches, some graphics upgrades, mobile controller support, and new character colors, including rose, tan, maroon, gray, banana, and coral. This Among Us update is set to roll out in the coming weeks for all platforms.
