Street Fighter X Tekken PC Finally Patched

Repeated complaints by fans about the various issues dogging Street Fighter X Tekken PC finally seem to have been addressed by Capcom through the game’s latest patch which is live now on Steam and Games for Windows Live. Dubbed patch 1.02, this update is aimed at rollback and sound quality issues faced by the online component of the title.

Moreover, the patch also introduces a gem selector menu which is said to proffer players with the ability to surf through menus faster than before. Ever since the PC game’s release in May this year, fans have been complaining about a number of problems with the SFxT’s online modes. Faulty matchmaking has also been reported as a major issue on the PC version of this fighting title.

Brett Elston, Community Manager at the Capcom Unity blog, mentioned, “As for the next patch, the PC version will jump straight to ver 1.05, obviously skipping the Rolento/projectile bug from a month ago. No exact date set, but the team has already begun work on implementing the update into the PC version. More as it happens!”

The game was first released in March 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Two new gameplay features debuted into the series with it in the form of the gems system and the Pandora Mode.
