EA announced yesterday, that it would be releasing the Hidden Springs DLC for its popular Sims 3 title later this month. Gamers who fancy their Sims to visit lake fronts, ski lodges or just relax in luxury spas can add this expansion to their shopping lists. The DLC will be made available on the Sims 3 Store for purchase using SimPoints.
This download will add to the game, new locations, items, Sims, and also ‘a little magic.’ Players even get to solve mysteries at the Museum of Magic and Supernatural. Moreover, they can socialize by taking a retreat to Redwood Heights Luxury Lodge.
Sims looking to unwind a little can visit the Crystal Solarium Rejuvenating Waters in order to revitalize themselves. Fairyfolk Park is another such location which players would be able to explore through the Hidden Springs DLC. The pack also encompasses a health and beauty spa named Silver Zephyr Health Spa. Furthermore, the invigorating waters of the Hidden Springs are said to house a certain mystery which can be uncovered by gamers once they download the pack.
The Sims 3 is a strategic life simulation computer game that was released in 2009. A sequel to the earlier The Sims 2, this title was first launched only for PC and Mac and it was only in 2010 that that the game was released for other platforms.
The Hidden Springs DLC for Sims 3 will be made available for PC and Mac versions of the game on August 25. Gamers would be able to purchase it The Sims 3 Store.
