BioWare CEO Speaks About PC Gaming

For most PC gamers, 2009 holds lots of promise as many blockbuster games such as Star Wars: The Old Republic and Warhammer 40000 Dawn Of War II are expected to release. The former is being developed by BioWare, whose RPG Mass Effect was ported to the PC. Now they have indicated that PC gaming is here to stay.

Ray Muzyka is the chief executive officer of BioWare. CVG is reporting that in an interview, Muzyka spoke about PC gaming. He explained, “I think there are more people playing PC games and more dollars being spent on the PC space than ever before, but it’s taking a different form.”

Muzyka pointed out that though massively multiplayer online games are one way that’s occurring, casual games and flash-based games are also being played by more people. He mentioned that as creators they have keep on making sure that they are satisfying the audience, however, they have to take are they don’t compromise.
