Spore Space Expansion Pack, Creepy & Cute Parts Pack Revealed by EA

It’s been more than a month since Electronic Arts has released Spore, one off the eagerly awaited games of 2008. But speculations of a Spore expansion have been doing the rounds of the internet from some days. Now EA has sent word about the Space stage expansion pack and Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack.

The Spore Space stage expansion pack will let gamers beam down from their spaceships to walk around new planets and receive rewards for carrying out challenging missions. There is even an Adventure Creator and gamers can even share their own custom missions. As for the Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack, there will be more than hundred new creature-building components for making creatures in two styles, scary, monster-like and charming, cartoon-esque.

Lucy Bradshaw, GM, Maxis studio says, “Spore is an incredibly personal and customizable experience. Many of our fans have asked us for even more tools to build with, while others are looking to extend their gameplay. As soon as we wrapped up Spore, we turned our focus to creating additional content that caters to fans’ individual tastes. With the cosmos as our backdrop, we can take Spore in almost infinite directions, constantly changing and evolving the experience.”

The Spore Space stage expansion pack will be out in the spring season of next year. However the Spore Creepy & Cute Parts Pack will be released on November 18, 2008. It will also work for the retail version of the Spore Creature Creator. Spore has sold more than a million copies.
