One of the most-awaited sports titles has finally hit stores in India. Electronic Arts has sent in word that shipping has begun to India for FIFA 08 for all platforms. In September, EA had revealed the soundtrack for FIFA 08. Now, the game will finally be available for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Nintendo Wii and DS game systems.
FIFA 08 which has been developed by EA introduces a new mode called ‘Be A Pro: Offline Training’. This mode puts players in the role of a single, fixed player and challenges you to master the same disciplines as a real football player right from positioning and tackling to reading in the field and passing.
What’s more; gamers will also receive real time feedback and analysis. Plus, a unique camera angle keeps both player and action in focus, zooming in when the player is on attack.
Yet another feature offered by EA Sports available on FIFA 08 is called ‘Be a Pro: Online Team Play’ which enabled around ten people from anywhere in eth world to connect online and play a single FIFA 08 match.
In addition to ‘Be A Pro: Online Team Play’, the online feature set in
FIFA 08 includes the award-winning Interactive Leagues, where you represent your club online against your rivals throughout the season in the F.A. Premier League, Bundesliga, French League or Mexican 1st Division and features weekly in-game pod casts by the development team, and Online Leagues, where you create and organize your own multiplayer Friends Leagues and tournaments with all the tools in-game.
You can even capture video of your best moves and goals in-game and upload to the FIFA 08 website to show off your style and celebrate your glory with friends across the globe.
FIFA 08 on the PlayStation 3 console will enable gamers to kick-ff their campaign and show off their gaming skills on the global stage as the online tournament of the 4th annual FIFA Interactive World Cup is slated to take place on the PLAYSTATION Network. This online tournament will run from October ’07 through April ’08 and the grand prizes include an invitation to the FIFA World Player Gala 2008 and $20,000 in cash.
FIFA 08 debuts on the Wii, and now gamers will be able to pass, shoot and score with just a flick of the wrist. Ronaldinho will be the first professional football player to appear as a customized and playable character in the Wii version.
EA’s FIFA 08 game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC and mobile platforms is immediately available in India.
