Bioware Releases Dragon Age Legends on Google+

Bioware has announced that its RPG title Dragon Age Legends has landed on Google+ as a Play4Free title. A little bird chirped about Google planning to introduce games on its new social networking suite of services just last month and it turns out that this was indeed true. Only yesterday, the search giant introduced games as part of the Google+ project.

Dragon Age Legends

This new game in the popular Dragon Age franchise is supposed to be reinvented for social play on the social platform. Gamers would be involved in tactical combat as well as progression and exploration in the Dragon Age universe. The Play4Free RPG was a launch title for the website’s games feature and is currently available in its library. Dragon Age Legends takes place in the Free Marches region which was introduced in Dragon Age II, Bioware’s multi-platform title released earlier this year.

It’s an honor to join Google in celebrating the birth of their gaming platform on Google+ by expanding Dragon Age Legends to an even wider audience. Dragon Age Legends raises the quality bar for social network games. By bringing the franchise to Google+, we’re able to connect and entertain millions of existing and new fans within the rich, immersive Dragon Age universe!,” revealed, Ray Muzyka, Co-founder of BioWare, and General Manager of the BioWare Label at EA.

In the game, players will be able to take part in quests, earn loots, share rewards and establish kingdoms, all alongside their Google+ friends. What’s more, this title will also feature character customization along with an upgrade system. Player vs. player combats in Guild arenas can also be expected in the game.
