The official PlayStation blog announced yesterday that a PSP bundle covering two games, Madden NFL 12 and Need for Speed Shift as well as a black PSP-3000 will hit U.S. markets towards the end of this month. A 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo will also accompany the device.
Madden NFL 12 is the latest installment in the football franchise by EA. Slated to release on the same day as the bundle, the game will include 32 teams complete with their player rosters. The Superstar and Franchise modes are some of the highlights of this title. Players wanting to experience Madden NFL 12 beforehand can download its free demo which is currently available on PSN.
“Starting on August 30th, we’ll be introducing a new PSP entertainment pack that is sure to get you psyched for this year’s football season,” touted, Crystal MacKenzie, Associate Brand Marketing Manager of Hardware at Sony. “We have partnered up with EA once again to bring you another fantastic PSP bundle featuring two exciting games to get your adrenaline pumping – Madden NFL 12 and Need for Speed SHIFT.”
Need for Speed Shift is a 2009 multi-platform title, again by EA. This offering is the thirteenth installment in the long running NFS franchise. It features a wide range of cars that can be raced on challenging tracks. Early this year, a sequel titled Shift 2: Unleashed was released by EA.
The Madden NFL 12 and Need for Speed Shift PSP bundle can be purchased by U.S. gamers from August 30 onwards at a price of 159.99 USD (approx Rs. 7,241).
