Pinball FX is a fast paced arcade pinball machine video game from Zen Studios for the Xbox Live service. Now the company has announced that the pinball video game, Zen Pinball is coming this spring exclusively to the PlayStation Network. “The PlayStation Network has a wide variety of great game offerings but it’s lacking a classic arcade pinball game like Zen Pinball,” stated Zsolt Kigyossy, managing director for Zen Studios. “This is a title for everyone’s game library, as Zen Pinball combines fast paced action and realistic graphics with the thrills of traditional pinball. It will certainly be ongoing fun for our players!”
The game, with very realistic table and ball physics and superb visuals on challenging tables, features a wide variety of in-game missions, online multiplayer head-to-head sessions and worldwide tournaments lasting several days. Apart from the common All-Time and Weekly scoreboards, the game has Score Speed, Best One Minute and Multiplayer Ranking Scoreboards, which gives players a chance to take on players from all over the world in the ultimate arcade experience.
Zen Pinball has four full-featured tables, El Dorado, Shaman, Tesla and V12, for players to test their skills on, and also multiplayer modes including local, online and worldwide tournaments competitions. The Realistic Operators Menu gives players the option of changing settings and viewing information regarding advanced play. The game includes some fun features such as slow motion and the ability to save a game which is in progress.
Also a slew of downloadable tables will be available soon and a selection of expansion tables will be coming in the ensuing months. A price for the game has not yet been mentioned.
