Last month Konnet launched its PowerV Quad, a wireless charger which could charge four Wii Remotes simultaneously. Now Konnet Technology has announced the PowerV Duo, a charging station for two Wii remote controllers plus two USB devices.
“The versatile functionality and stylish design of the PowerV Duo is what Konnet is all about,” Christine Custodio, VP of Marketing for Konnet Technologies remarked. “It is a necessary accessory for any multi-device modern household.”
The PowerV Duo has advanced wireless induction for hassle-free charging, just like the company’s other induction charging device, the PowerV Quad which can charge up to four Wii remotes. The PowerV Duo can charge Wii Remotes even with the MotionPlus accessory and the silicone jacket still attached, and charges the remotes instantly via the supplied rechargeable battery packs. The red and blue LEDs indicate whether the controllers are charging or fully charged.
Konnet has packed in a feature to ensure that excess power is not wasted and when the controllers are completely powered up the dock stops charging. The station even has an On/Off button to save power when not charging.
The PowerV Duo from Konnet comes bundled with a USB cable which is compatible with the DS Lite, the DSi and the DSi XL console, an AC adapter, and two Ni-MH 800 mAh battery packs. It retails for a price of 34.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,655) and 39.99 Canadian dollars (approx. Rs. 1,770).
