Insomniac Games Selects EA Partners for New Franchise

We just heard Electronic Arts announce that NHL 11 would include the teams and players featured in the CHL. Now EA has revealed a publishing agreement with independent publisher Insomniac Games which will bring the studio’s all-new franchise to the PS3 as well as the Xbox 360. This will be the first multi-platform release from Insomniac Games known for its Ratchet & Clank, Resistance, and Spyro the Dragon franchises.

Insomniac Games’ new franchise hasn’t been given a name yet and is in production at the company’s Burbank studio. The title will be published through the EA Partners program and will mark the introduction of a completely new universe from the developer.

No release frame for the new franchise has been revealed.
