Konnet Technology, a manufacturer of mobile entertainment and gaming accessories, has launched its PowerV Quad, a wireless induction charging and storage solution for the Nintendo Wiimote controller. The device can charge up to four Wiimotes simultaneously and has been designed to minimize cable clutter.
“The PowerV Quad lets you enjoy your Wii without the threat of losing remote power or having a cluttered living room,” Christine Custodio, VP of Marketing for Konnet said. “It’s an effortless solution for today’s hip gamer.”
The PowerV Quad allows for hassle free charging with wireless induction. The Wiimote can be placed on the device without removing the Wii MotionPlus accessory or the silicone casing. The PowerV Quad has red and blue LED lights to indicate state of charging of the Wiimotes placed on it.
The device can recognize if an alkaline battery is being used and will immediately cut off charging to that Wii remote. Konnet’s PowerV Quad is priced at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,230) and comes with an AC/DC adaptor cord and 4 rechargeable Ni-MH 800 mAh battery packs.
