Nerf N-Strike Elite is the video game based on the Nerf toy-line, and earlier we reported that the game was coming in October. Now EA sends word that Nerf N-Strike Elite for the Nintendo Wii has shipped to retail. The game comes bundled with a Nerf Switch Shot Ex-3 blaster and an attachable Red Reveal decoder lens.
“There were high expectations for Nerf N-Strike Elite from consumers and retailers based on last year’s game success so we upped the ante across every facet of the experience,” Chip Lange, who is General Manager and Vice President of EA’s Hasbro Division, stated. “Nerf N-Strike Elite delivers even deeper gameplay and customization elements, unlocks a new arsenal of blasters, and serves up high adrenaline missions for action seekers of all ages. In addition to the blaster, we added another accessory to the bundle – a decoder lens which adds a new layer of immersive and interactive Nerf game play.”

Players can choose from four characters, each with their own unique abilities and blasters. As part of a four member team they must ultimately bring down an entire army of robots led by B.O.B. The game features more than a dozen real, as well as never-before-seen Nerf blasters, which can be unlocked over the course of the game.
Nerf N-Strike Elite gives players the choice of playing through the game levels solo or teaming up with a friend for two-player co-operative play for an entire campaign. Using carefully balanced teamwork, players can unlock special Elite Moments, during which the action gets hotter, and unlockable items and hidden codes can be found.
Nerf N-Strike Elite is available at retail for the Wii for a maximum suggested retail price of 59.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,830).
