Nerf N-Strike Elite Hitting Retail This October

Nerf N-Strike is the video game for the Wii based on the Nerf line of toy dart blasters, released by Electronic Arts in October last year. Now we have word that the sequel, Nerf N-Strike Elite will be hitting retail stores in late October.

The game is set to hit just in time for the fortieth anniversary of the popular toy brand. Nerf N-Strike Elite features all new adventures, missions, and of course Nerf blasters. The game itself comes bundled with a newly designed blaster called the Nerf Switch Shot Ex-3, and an attachable decoder lens, which delivers a mix of covert operation elements and over-the-top blasting missions.

The Wii remote can easily snap into place into the Nerf Switch Shot Ex-3, and with the red reveal lens engaged, players can solve puzzles, detect weak spots in the enemies defenses, and decode secret messages.

Nerf N-Strike Elite features four playable characters and two player co-op. The game for the Nintendo Wii is scheduled to hit retail stores on October 27, 2009 while prices are not known.
