Trine is a side-scrolling action game with some puzzle elements thrown into it. The title was initially released for the PC back in July this year. Now Finnish game developer Frozenbyte and Nobilis Publishing who is a French publisher have announced that they are releasing Trine for the US PlayStation Store.
This jump’n run title unveiled for the European PlayStation Store just two weeks back. In that little time span Trine has already been noted as one of the top sellers of this month there. The fantasy action platform game must defeat threatening enemies and solve dangerous puzzles. This can be done by using and forming objects that are physics-based objects.
The Trine is a mystical contraption which binds together three heroes who must save the kingdom from the evils that plaque it. During the game, players can toggle between the three heroes depending on the challenge or puzzle that are posed to them.
The acclaimed title is set to release on the US PlayStation Store on October 22, 2009.
