New Nintendo Downloadable Games chime in with Super Mario Bros. 2 and more in tow

The latest list of Nintendo downloadable games has arrived, and has brought with it classics like Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels (aka Super Mario Bros. 2) and Mega Man which can be downloaded now for the 3DS. Three Wii U games on the console’s eShop have been discounted by the publisher as well, as part of its holiday deals. A number of other games have made it to the list for all of the company’s current devices.

The highlight among all of this week’s Nintendo downloadable games, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels can be purchased through eShop for the 3DS at a price of 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 275). This popular game in the series presents even more challenges to gamers, as they begin another long search for Princess Peach. Mega Man is the first title from the long-running franchise which has finally made its way to the 3DS. This platformer now sells on the eShop at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 275).

Fluidity: Spin Cycle is one more interesting proposition for owners of the said handheld. It is a platformer which asks players to tilt, turn and rotate their 3DS consoles so as to move a puddle of water through mazes. This game can be bought at a price of 10.99 USD (approx. Rs. 600). A new 3DS game dubbed Johnny Impossible has also come out this week. It is being described by its maker as an intense side-scrolling platformer and a stealth cross-over, and is retailing on the eShop at 5.99 USD (approx. Rs. 330).

And then there’s a fresh Wii game as well, which has launched in the form of Shock Troopers 2nd Squad. First released in 1998, this military-themed action title is available on the Wii Shop Channel at 900 Points. Furthermore, we have Mahjong 3D – Warriors of the Emperor, a new 3DS offering that has been launched this week with its cost tagged at 9.99 USD (approx. Rs. 550). Lastly, DS owners can take advantage of the DSiWare service for downloading three new games – Goooooal América, Jump Trials Extreme and Wizard Defenders.

As mentioned above, a few Wii U titles are on sale this week as part of the latest Nintendo downloadable games. These include Chasing Aurora, Little Inferno and Trine 2: Director’s Cut.
