Spotted by Joystiq, the image we’ve embedded above started to the whole frenzy, as it virtually revealed all the contents of the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC prior to Activision announcing it. According to the website, it was posted by a Reddit user on the popular social news and entertainment portal. The same user also deployed two more images that disclosed the launch date for the map pack to be January 29, 2013. When it will be coming out through PSN, and whether or not it will be hitting PC and Wii U at all, is still to be exposed.

According to the photograph, the DLC seems to be containing a total of five new maps for the title. They are named Mirage, Downhill, Hydro, Grind and Die Rise. What’s notable is that the final map, namely Die Rise has a picture of a zombie soldier on it, indicating that it will be a zombie co-op map. Moreover, an extra weapon has also been added to the mix by developer Treyarch in the form of the Peacekeeper SMG.

This will be the first piece of premium download material for the game. It is expected to be priced at 15 USD (approx. Rs. 820) which translates to 1,200 Microsoft Points. That’s based on what Activision had said when it had unveiled the title’s 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,740) Season Pass. Purchasing this subscription grants gamers access to four such map packs, along with a download of the Nuketown Zombies map.
