Furry Legends, which is already available for the Wii, has been released for the 3DS and DSi through this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. Other titles that make their debut this week include Catrap, 101-in-1 Explosive Megamix, 1001 Blockbusters and Fast: Racing League.
Furry Legends was announced for handhelds in August this year. The fantasy adventure game has finally landed for Nintendo devices and comprises four worlds filled with furry lands, scary caves, evil pyramids, and even another dimension. This week’s 3DS exclusive is Catrap which is a re-mastered version of the 1990 Game Boy classic.
101-in-1 Explosive Megamix is a WiiWare that apparently kicks in 101 ‘mind-blowing’ games of puzzle, sport and arcade genres. Another WiiWare in this week’s list is Fast: Racing League. This title transpires in 2112 and comprises ‘extreme’ high speed races. A free demo can also downloaded by gamers before purchasing it.
Additionally, 1001 BlockBusters which is a 3D version of the classic Arkanoid games also makes its way into this week’s Nintendo downloadable games. It features traditional blockbusting gameplay in worlds such as Stone Age, Ancient Greece, Candy World and Fantasy Forest and can be downloaded on both the 3DS as well as the DSi.
The Nintendo Video service gets its weekly update in the form of Night of the Living Carrots Part 1. Created by Dreamworks, this video can be viewed only on the 3DS.
Furry Legends from this week’s Nintendo downloadable games can be purchased from the eShop at 4.99 USD (approx. Rs. 246) and the DSi Shop at 500 Points. On the other hand, Catrap retails on the eShop at 2.99 USD (approx. Rs. 147), while 1001 BlockBusters can be bought form the eShop and DSi Shop at 1.99 USD (approx. Rs. 98) and 200 Points, respectively.
